Water Management Specifications

This area contains resources applicable to Alberta Transportation's Civil Works Master Specifications (CWMS) to be used by consulting engineers when developing contracts for the construction of water management projects owned by the Province, and may involve dams, spillways, canals, control structures, erosion abatement works, and flood control dykes.

CWMS Civil Works Master Specification of Construction
CWMS was developed to ensure consistency in the content and quality of contract specifications for water management contracts. The CWMS consists of Bidding Requirements, Conditions of Contract, General Requirements, and Technical Specifications that are organized according to a familiar 16-division format.
